Cosopt is a brand name of the prescription drug combination of dorzolamide and timolol. This drug is prescribed to treat increased pressure in the eye that results from open-angle glaucoma and hypertension of the eye. Dorzolamide is a carbonic anydrase inhibitor and timolol is beta-adrenergic blocking agent. This medication is available in eye drops. Cosopt can cause some side effects.
