Eggs are low in carbs and sugar.

Some dieters prefer to eat a low carbohydrate, low sugar diet to help them lower their weight. When carbs or sugars are eaten, they spike your blood sugar. When your blood sugar levels crash back down, you may feel the need to eat again to get your energy up. This is counter-productive when you're trying to lose weight. Carbohydrates come in three forms: fiber, starch and sugars. Fiber is a desirable form, while sugars and starches can elevate your blood sugar to unhealthy levels. Carbs and sugars are commonly found in most processed foods, but can also be found in many natural whole foods. Foods that are low in carbs and sugars are easy to find in your local supermarket or farmer's market. You don't have to look any further than your produce, meat or freezer aisle.
