The Las Vegas Wranglers is a minor league professional hockey team, and the city also has Ice Center activities kids of all ages. The center is a full-service ice rink, offering two rinks, lessons, public skating times, a pro shop, training programs and adult and youth hockey leagues.
The Las Vegas Ice Cats is a youth hockey program geared to developing proper hockey techniques for kids and parents. The organization offers a number of programs, including Beginning Hockey 101 for all ages, the Bobcats House League and Mite B Traveling Team for ages 5 to 8, and the Lions House League, Squirt B Travel Team, and Pee wee B Travel Team for ages 9 to 11. -
The Frozen Ropes International Baseball & Softball Training Center is a 12,000-square-foot indoor facility that offers programs all year round for children age 3 and up, as well as teens and adults. Staff provides instruction in baseball and softball techniques, Diamond Strength, Visual Mechanics Training, and many other innovative programs. Frozen Ropes also hosts summer and winter-break camps. The facility is available to rent for teams or individuals for training or special events.
Henderson Girls Softball Association provides girls in Clark County age 5-18 the opportunity to play softball (or T-ball, for ages 8 and under) officiated by ASA umpires. Tryouts and drafts determine team placement, and under the guidance and supervision of dedicated volunteers, girls develop confidence, sportsmanship and teamwork skills while benefiting from a fresh-air workout. - The Red Rock Climbing Center is more than 8,000 square feet of textured climbing terrain that kids go crazy for. The center features mesmerizing Dihedrals, caves, buttresses and roofs that can be explored by all ages. Gymnastic padding covers the floors for additional safety and protection for the occasional fall. The center features a section called "Kids Climb Time," which is perfect for introducing youngsters to the sport. This can extremely fun for after-school activities.

The Las Vegas YMCA has activities for kids of all ages. The center allows kids to stay for two hours playing, doing arts and crafts and more. There is a small fee for this service. If you want to learn to swim, the Y offers swim lessons for children as young as 6 months old and continuing to adults.
The Chuck Minker Sports Complex features a full gymnasium, racquetball/wallyball courts, aerobics and dance studios, a fitness/weight room, an outdoor walk-jog path and lockers and showers.
Martial arts classes, including instruction in Shotokan and Tae Kwon Do for ages 5 to adult, are popular in Las Vegas, as are basketball leagues and fitness classes. - Pee -Wee football leagues are offered by the City Parks & Recreation Department. Be sure to contact the location nearest you. The city also offers programs for kids in their teens. There are fees associated with playing on a team, but those vary by program.
- Las Vegas Indoor Soccer offers soccer camps and tournaments, teaching kids to enhance their current skills and expand their playing ability. Since it is indoors, you never have to worry about games being rained out. The center offers various classes to various ages based on skill level and performance. Leagues are formed and the kids are given a chance to join teams and are encouraged to do their best on and off the playing field. Certified instructors guide the children in the right direction with positive re-enforcement and fair play.
