Considerations
-
If you are seeking grant opportunities through the above organizations or others, you should first have a definitive focus as to what you will be using the funding for. Simply stating that you want to start a business is not enough. Be specific and be sure to search for funding opportunities that fit your needs. In addition, because many of these foundations have been instituted by successful women to help others become successful, you will want to be sure to include in your application a description of how you plan to help other women when you are in the position to do so.
