If you are planning to visit Dallas, Texas, you want to see some of the attractions that will awe you and give you lasting memories. Although Dallas has many attractions, there are some that you don't want to miss because of the special experiences you will have.

    Zoo

  1. The Dallas Zoo is a place for young and old. There are exhibits of reptiles, elephants and other wild animals of the world. A section of the park is called the Wilds of Africa. The zoo has a special area where children can touch the animals, and it has activities for kids that want a more interactive approach to the zoo experience. You can take the monorail to the zoo and avoid driving and parking problems.

  2. The Dallas World Aquarium

  3. The Dallas World Aquarium has sea animals and land creature exhibits. The rain forest exhibit is exciting to see and experience. You can easily spend the entire day glazing at the exhibits and wandering around to each of the twelve saltwater exhibits.

  5. This self-guided tour allows you to take your time and tour the twenty-eight rail cars. See the sleeping cars and other rail cars that have been maintained over the years.   7. At the International Exotic Feline Sanctuary, you will see more than seventy large cats on 60 acres of land. Each cat has a story about how he arrived at the sanctuary, and you may be told how he lives and eats. You can see tigers, panthers, cougars and lions as they graze in their habitats that have been made to feel like the wilds that they once were free to roam. You can spend an entire day studying how each of the cats reacts to the surroundings and visitors.

  11. There is so much to see and do when you visit the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The White Rock Lake is perfect for sightseeing and having a relaxing picnic. The flowers and plants are interesting because they are from around the world and are not something that you see every day.
