Mars Incorporated produces billions of candy products a year. Most of the candy bars are sold as king size, regular size, fun size and bite size. Mars Incorporated began in the early 1900s. Milk chocolate, caramel, nugget and almonds make up Mars bar. Mars Incorporated halted sales of this particular candy bar in the United States in 2000. The similar Snickers Almond can be purchased in the United States. A European version can be bought in America, however. Forrest Mars, son of Frank Mars, modeled the Mars bar after his father's Milky Way. Americans loved the Milky Way and Forrest wanted to bring a similar candy bar to the United Kingdom.

A milk chocolate bar filled with peanut butter nougat, roasted peanuts and caramel makes Snickers the best-selling candy bar. According to Mars Incorporated, there are 16 peanuts in Snickers. The United Kingdom and Ireland sell it as the Marathon bar. The name Snickers comes from a horse owned by the Mars family. Bite-sized pieces of chocolate covered in candy and stamped with an 'm' pour of out a bag of M&M's. M&M's come in plain, peanut butter, mint, dark chocolate, crispy, peanut and almond varieties. M&M's come in a variety of colors. New flavors like coconut and peanut butter strawberry come out for a limited time for special movie events or seasons. Customers can order customized M&Ms from the M&Ms website in special colors or words.

Two cookies topped in caramel and coated in milk chocolate fall out of a Twix wrapper. Twix found its way to America from Britain in 1979. Known as Raider in Europe, the name Twix was adopted by the continent in 1991. Twix peanut butter and dark chocolate sell in America, along with original. The peanut butter kind came out in the United States in 1983. A dark chocolate version sold for a limited time during 2005.

For his first candy bar, Mars Incorporated founder Frank Mars created a chocolate bar filled with caramel and chocolate-malt nougat in 1923. Mars Incorporated website states that Frank Mars got his inspiration from chocolate malts. He named his new concoction the Milky Way. Until 1936, both a vanilla and chocolate flavor was sold. The vanilla would later become the Milky Way Midnight. According to Mars, Inc. Milky Way bars are kosher. The European Milky Way does not have caramel.
3 Musketeers

A candy bar shell filled with nougat and whipped chocolate makes a 3 Musketeers. Before World War II, 3 Musketeers came in strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Vanilla and strawberry were thrown out when the government started sugar restrictions during the Second World War. The 3 Musketeers was released in 1932. Mars Inc. introduced a mint flavor in 2007. 3 Musketeers claim to have less fat than other candy bars. For special occasions, strawberry, French vanilla and cappuccino have been sold.
