How to Edit .PNG With CorelDRAW

The PNG image file format is a raster format, which means the color information of each pixel of the image is stored in the file. By contrast, vector-based image formats store instructions showing vector graphics editors like CorelDRAW how to draw the lines and shapes of an image. In short, vector images are like programming instructions while raster images are like databases. Because CorelDRAW is vector-image editor, its operations for editing raster images such as .PNG are limited. However, if you convert the raster image to a vector one, you can edit the converted image. Alternatively, you can edit the PNG file directly with the Photo Paint program bundled with CorelDRAW.
