What Xbox Games Will Work With Xbox 360 Pro?

Did you recently upgrade to an Xbox 360 Pro and you're worried that your old Xbox games are worthless? Fear not, because there are dozens and dozens of "old-school" Xbox titles that are compatible with the Xbox 360 Pro as well as the Xbox 360 Elite. Before you play your compatible Xbox games, you will need updates for your 360 console. These are easy to acquire.

Updating Your Console

An Xbox Live membership guarantees that your console will be updated automatically. You can acquire either a silver or gold membership through a broadband Ethernet connection. A silver membership is free, while the gold membership costs $50 annually. The main difference between the two is that a gold membership allows you to play against your friends online.

If you don't have a broadband connection, you can download the update file from Xbox.com and burn a DVD or CD. You'll need a DVD or CD burner on your computer, a blank, writeable CD or DVD and the update file from Xbox.com.

When you're done burning the CD or DVD, place it in the console, follow the onscreen updating instructions and get ready to play your Xbox games on your 360.
