Acer Laptop Information

Acer, a Taiwanese manufacturer, is relatively new to the scene compared to its rivals, Dell and HP. Gaining traction in the laptop computer market in the early 2000s, Acer has become a competitive PC vendor with growing customer loyalty because of the lower cost but comparable quality products. Recently, Acer started the Netbook craze with the Acer Aspire line.

    • Made for business travelers, the TravelMate series has won numerous awards.     • Acer laptops have had overall positive reviews on common review sites like CNET and Amazon. One common complaint Acer has yet to resolve is its lack of customer service. Many users have been happy with the price and quality of the computer but so discouraged by customer service that they have vowed not to purchase an Acer again.
