SlimQuick is a controversial but popular weight-loss supplement marketed to women. SlimQuick promises "revolutionary" weight loss results in a small period of time. In addition to promising weight loss, the pill also focuses on reducing bloating and other premenstrual symptoms. The pill is controversial because several women have ended up in the hospital with heart problems, dehydration and other health-related issues allegedly caused by taking SlimQuick.

    Ingredients

  1. SlimQuick contains six patented "complexes" in each capsule that are meant to manipulate the natural functions of a woman's body and accelerate weight loss.

Aquaplex Complex is composed of dandelion root, horsetail herb extract, uva ursi extract and French maritime pine bark extract, all of which have diuretic properties.

Cortifern Complex has beta sitosterol, phosphatidylserine, rhidiola rosea roots, and theanine. It is designed to lower the level of stress hormones, which many people associate with weight gain and muscle loss in women.

Cyclovite Complex has calcium, folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and vitamin D for overall health.

Estrotrim Complex has soy isoflavones for hormonal balance, including weight loss and fat storage, controlling the diet and premenstrual symptoms.

Nutratherm Complex has green tea extract, caffeine, cocoa bean extract, yerba mate leaf extract, and clary sage root to raise the metabolic rate and increase energy.

Xtend Complex has cellulose ethers and piper nigum. It is a time-release formula that elevates the metabolic rate throughout the day and also helps absorption of other SlimQuick ingredients
  2. Effects

  3. Results achieved from taking Slim Quick vary. Some women have reported losing 10 pounds a week, others less than 10 pounds over the course of a month. The creators of SlimQuick promise optimum results with a low-fat, low-calorie diet and exercise plan. Diet and exercise recommendations are included with each bottle of SlimQuick.
  4. Warnings

  5. Like most diet pills, SlimQuick contains a large quantity of caffeine. One serving can contain as much caffeine as four cups of coffee. SlimQuick's warning label suggests not to exceed four capsules in one day. Side effects include insomnia, anxiety, irritability and elevated heart rate.
  6. Considerations

  7. While many of the ingredients listed are known to help diminish symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, very few of the ingredients are geared towards appetite suppression or weight loss. SlimQuick pills also contain many ingredients that are high in caffeine content.
  8. Expert Insight

  9. This product, like any weight loss product or regimen, should not be started without first consulting your physician.
