The Best Source of Vitamin B

B vitamins contribute to a healthy nervous system, which helps provide stress relief and much needed energy. The group of B complex vitamins are some of the most essential vitamins because they perform so many functions in the body that contribute to overall health and wellness. Vitamin B is also a great beauty vitamin because it helps to balance oil in the skin, which can reduce acne. In addition, vitamin B also helps promote healthy hair, skin and nails.

  1. Salmon

    • Salmon is one of the most nutrient-rich fish that you can eat. Not only is salmon loaded with good fats and oils, but salmon also contains high levels of B vitamins and other nutrients. Salmon is good for the skin because it contains so many beauty vitamins such as vitamin B, E and A, just to name a few. Salmon retains the most nutrition when it is baked or broiled.

    Raw Milk

    • Another great source of vitamin B is raw milk. Raw milk has not been pasteurized so it still contains all the vital enzymes and nutrients. Raw milk is very high in B vitamins, making it one of the top B vitamin sources. Try to buy your raw milk from an organic dairy that is clean and well maintained.

    Eggs

    • Eggs are an excellent source of vitamin B. At one time eggs were labeled as bad for us due to misinformation about cholesterol. However, now eggs have renewed their reputation because new information indicates that eggs contain good fats that are actually needed by the body. Eggs also contain high levels of protein and other nutrients such as B vitamins.

    Chicken

    • Chicken is a staple for most people because it is a lean source of protein. Chicken is a family favorite because it can be cooked in so many ways. Chicken and other meats are great sources of B vitamins. Eating chicken two to three times per week can help to ensure that you are giving your body the right level of protein and B vitamins needed for optimal health.

    Brewers Yeast

    • Brewers yeast is another great source of vitamin B. Brewers yeast can be added to dinner dishes or protein shakes. Brewers yeast is a complete food because it contains vitamin B as well as protein and other nutrients. Brewers yeast can also be found at your local health food store or online.
