The Hotel

The five-star Le Touessrok overlooks the Trou d'Eau Douce bay, putting guests directly on one of Maritius' beautiful white-sand beaches. On the mainland is the central part of the hotel with rooms and suites, a free-form pool, a secluded pool, the Givenchy Spa, five restaurants, a bar, a kids' club, four tennis courts, archery and volleyball. There are also two private islands, Ile aux Cerfs and Ilot Mangénie, that are only a short boat ride away.

Guest rooms include deluxe rooms, junior suites, ocean suites, a royal suite and private villas. Each room is equipped with the latest amenities, including DVD player, Internet, flat-screen television and air-conditioning. Deluxe rooms have a king-size bed and large bathroom. Junior suites are larger than a standard deluxe room and feature queen-size beds. Ocean suites are larger than both and feature a private dining room, two terraces and queen-size beds. The Royal Suite is separate from the main part of the building and has a large master bedroom, terrace and dining room. The villas have two master bedrooms, private swimming pools, private gardens and a personal manager.

In addition to the above-mentioned activities, the canoes, sail boats, kayaks, snorkeling and water-skiing are all available at Le Touessrok. SCUBA diving is available for an extra fee. Personal trainers are available at the fitness center, and guests can participate in stretching sessions and aquatic exercise programs. The island of Ile aux Cerfs has an 18-hole championship golf course designed by famed European professional golfer Bernhard Langer.

From tradtional Mauritian cuisine to Asian and European fusion, Le Touessrok's many restaurants offer dishes that can satisfy any taste. Most restaurants are open for lunch and dinner, and one is open for breakfast. Each restaurant has its own specialty and each is distinctly different. The onsite bar features homemade rums, international rums, and a wide-selection of whiskeys. The resident jazz band performs nightly.

Le Touessrok is located 50 miles from Mauritius' capital of Port Louis and the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport on the island's east coast. It can be reached by car or taxi. The hotel can also be reached by cruise ship and yacht. Many major airlines service the island, including Virgin Atlantic, Emirates and British Airways.
