How Do People Rate Pakistan International Airlines?
Pakistan International Airlines generally gets solid marks, although few would rank it among the world's elite high-quality airlines. For the most part, however, PIA is considered a reliable and reasonably priced way to travel to, from or through Asia.

Skytrax Rating
-
Skytrax, which offers independent reviews of airlines, gives PIA a three-star rating. This puts it in the same class as major U.S. airlines such as United, Northwest and American, but a step below airlines such as Japan Airlines and JetBlue. Skytrax gives PIA lower marks for in-flight entertainment, amenities and staff language skills. Comments left by travelers on this site reflect a similar trend.

Similarly, the ratings at ReviewCentre.com give Air Pakistan an average of 3.1 out of five stars, based on 11 ratings and 26 reviews. Reviewers here tend to give PIA extra high marks for flights being on time and lower marks for food and customer service.

TripAdvisor

PIA does not get a lot of attention at TripAdvisor or in the forums, but in most cases that attention is positive. Even the negative reviewer notes that it's "just as good/bad as most of the other big carriers." Another reviewer says that many flights on the airline resulted in only "great experiences."

There are just two reviews at FlyerGuide.net. One calls PIA an "excellent airline." The other talks about a chaotic situation caused by a flight delay and an accommodating staff, as well as "acceptable" food.
