How to Take Cepacol

The benzocaine in Cepacol numbs the nerve endings in your throat, soothing the soreness. Follow package directions and do not take more than the recommended dosage. If using lozenges, allow the lozenge to dissolve in your mouth (instead of chewing it) to allow for maximum effectiveness. Don't take more than the recommended dosage or use Cepacol for more than two days without consulting your doctor.
