Aries: March 21-April 19 & Taurus: April 20-May 20

Aries:
The Aries' element is fire, their ruling planet is Mars and their symbol is the ram. Aries are adventurous, outgoing and active. Aries are always on the move, trying new things and pushing themselves to the limit. On the flip side, they can also be naïve, childlike and impulsive.

Taurus:
Their element is earth, ruling planet is Venus and their symbol the bull. A Taurus is often known for keeping emotions hidden and presenting an even and steady exterior. They are social, but prefer their lives to be predictable and unchanging. Full of deep emotions, they are often nature and pet lovers.

Gemini: May 21-June 20 & Cancer: June 21-July 22

Gemini:
The Geminis' element is air, they are ruled by the planet Mercury and their symbol is the twins. They are incurably curious and often mischievous. They like to be on the move, chasing after new experiences. They are known to have the gift of gab and will likely be the center of attention. Because they are such independent spirits, they can often be seen as mysterious or detached.

Cancer:
Their element is water, their ruling planet is the moon and their symbol the crab. Cancers are thought of as moody and eccentric, but also concerned about image. They are contradictions with hard exteriors, but warm and soft on the inside. They are also incurable romantics.

Leo: July 23-Aug. 22 & Virgo: Aug. 23-Sept. 22

Leo:
Their element is fire, their ruling planet is the sun and their symbol is the lion. Leos are the lovers of the Zodiac. They are charismatic and positive. They are committed and devoted partners, but won't stick around in a loveless relationship. Their one downfall is pride, but if they can conquer that, they are bound for greatness.

Virgo:
The Virgos' element is earth, their ruling planet is Mercury and their symbol is the virgin. A confident Virgo will be one of the most creative and well-thought-out people in the Zodiac. They are service-oriented, comfortable playing a supporting role and always have faith in their fellow man. Because they are sensitive and often shy, they are in danger of being taken advantage of. But their sensitivity also makes them good and true friends.

Libra: Sept. 23-Oct. 22 & Scorpio: Oct. 23-Nov. 21

Libra:
Their element is air, their ruling planet is Venus and their symbol is a scale. Desire for the love of their life is a major driving force for Libras. They are capable of distancing themselves from the world and playing a role within it. This often makes them successful at business. They are charming and often are peacemakers.

Scorpio:
Their element is water, their ruling planet is Pluto and their symbol is the scorpion. Scorpios are the most powerful in the Zodiac and are in danger of loving power too much. They are not always in tune with their emotions and are secretive. They are born winners who don't forget those who've crossed them. If Scorpios can learn to control their lust for power, they can be highly successful.

Sagittarius: Nov. 22-Dec. 21 & Capricorn: Dec. 22-Jan. 19

Sagittarius:
The Sagittarians' element is fire, their ruling planet is Jupiter and their symbol is the archer. Sagittarians are adventurous and exuberant. They are philosophical and always optimistic. For those around the Sagittarian, their need to be forever on the move can be frustrating, but with the right person, a Sagittarian will prove to have big heart.

Capricorn:
Their element is earth, their ruling planet is Saturn and their symbol is the goat. There are said to be two types of Capricorn, the mountain goat and the farm goat. The mountain goat is always climbing higher, reaching for success and running the risk of becoming a workaholic. The farm goat is happy to find success where they are, striving to be the best they can, but not reaching for the stars. Capricorns seek affection and have a curious sense of humor.

Aquarius:
The Aquarians' element is air, their ruling planet is Uranus and their symbol is the water bearer. Aquarians are the most unique people in the Zodiac. Living always in the mind, they can exist on many mental levels. They are often seen as eccentric and even insane, but always creative and inventive. They are philanthropic, amiable, mysterious and unusual.

Pisces:
Their element is water, their ruling planet is Neptune and their symbol is two fish.
Pisces are seen as gifted, but often torn between two worlds. They might exist in both the worlds of religion and science, for example. They often embody both the saint and the sinner. They are also seen as adaptable, resilient, sensitive and mired in fantasy.
