Our world is full of pollutants. They are in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. These toxins often get stored in our bodies. A total body cleansing diet helps the body to rid itself of these toxins.

  1. Colon Cleansing

    • The colon is the sewer pipe of the body. It's vitally important to your overall health that this waste disposal system can effectively carry waste out of your body. If the colon becomes clogged or can't efficiently do its job, it can cause all kinds of problems.

    Fasting

    • Many impurities in your body are stored in fat cells. As you burn fat, these toxins are released into your muscles and into the blood. A water fast, juice fast or other type of metabolism-increasing, fat-burning fast will release these toxins.

    Raw Foods

    • Many foods that make up the modern diet are the very foods that leave toxins in the body. Red meats, starches found in white flour, dairy foods, sugar and caffeine all carry toxins that lurk in the body. A fast for three to seven days that includes water, juice, raw vegetables and whole grains can help eliminate these toxins.

    Flushing

    • Our bodies are 70 percent water. Each day, as we talk, move and breathe, we lose water from our bodies. As we consume water, it helps filter impurities out of our body. Dehydrated bodies leave impurities deposited in organs such as the kidneys and the bladder. As we consume more water, it cleanses our organs and flushes the impurities from our bodies.

    Sweat Therapy

    • As you detoxify, many toxins leave your body through your sweat glands. Sweating can also kill viruses, clean clogged pores, increase circulation and enhance your immune system.
