Signs and Symptoms of Genital Warts for Men
Genital warts are a form of a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that prompts the formation of small, painless mounds on the skin of the sufferer. All it takes for a person to become infected with genital warts is to have direct contact with an individual carrying certain strains of the human papilloma virus, also known simply as HPV. When this happens to a man, he will soon display certain signs and symptoms of an infection.

Absence of Symptoms
-
Many times, men (as well as women) won't display any symptoms at all when it comes to genitals warts. This is due to the actual size and shape of the warts themselves. It is completely possible that warts will crop up almost flush with the skin and very minute in size, making it very difficult to discern whether or not warts are even present. If this were to happen, the person would still be contagious and could pass the warts on to a partner.
Skin Discomfort
-
For some men, genital warts will cause them to experience some skin discomfort. Normally, this discomfort is felt as an itching, tingling or prickling within the area of exposure. With genital warts, it will either occur on or around the penis as well as in or around the anus.

Warts
-
For others, genital warts will also prompt the noticeable formation of the warts themselves. And much like skin discomfort, the growths will develop in and around the area of infection, like the penis, testicle and anus. These warts are basically flesh in color and fairly small, so it may take some level of inspection to any area suffering from the itching, tingling or prickling sensation.
Mounds
-
In much more significant cases of genital warts, a man may notice literal mounds forming on his penis, testicles or anus. When this happens, it's still the warts, but they are now developing much closer together in a grouping or cluster. This collection of warts takes the form of an almost "cauliflower-like" growth on the skin.
Bleeding
-
It isn't uncommon for a man with genital warts to also suffer from periodic episodes of bleeding. This bleeding is typically isolated to the warts themselves and caused by some sort of friction or rubbing from intercourse. The areas with the warts are will experience the bleeding. A man shouldn't suffer from any blood in his urine or semen with this specific condition.
