  1. Rosemary

    • Rosemary

Rosemary stimulates hair growth. Make a rosemary tonic by boiling 1 tbsp. of dried rosemary leaves in 1 cup of boiling water. Let cool overnight and strain through a coffee filter the next day. Saturate the scalp with the solution and cover with a shower cap. Let sit for at least 2 hours or apply it before bed and wash out in the morning.

    Olive Oil

    • Olive Oil

Use an olive oil treatment on the scalp. Olive oil is clarifying and cleans the scalp to encourage hair growth. Olive oil also moisturizes, which gives hair a healthy place to grow. Massage olive oil into the scalp and cover with a shower cap. Leave on for at least 2 hours or apply before bed and rinse out in the morning.

    Flaxseed Oil

    • Flaxseed Oil Capsules

Puncture a capsule of flaxseed oil and massage it into the scalp for 5 minutes. Leave on the scalp for an additional 10 minutes and shampoo as usual. Flaxseed oil increases circulation in the scalp. This encourages hair growth and supports overall scalp health.

    Apple Cider Vinegar

    • Rinse hair with apple cider vinegar. Pour on dry hair, work into the scalp and let sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse out of the hair and shampoo as usual. Apple cider vinegar removes dead skin cells that may be clogging hair follicles and preventing hair growth.

    Avocados

    • Avocados

Create a hair mask by mashing enough avocado to saturate the scalp and the entire length of hair. Avocado has more protein than any other fruit and is full of B vitamins. Hair is composed of protein and B vitamins, making avocados a great option for a hair growth treatment.
