Goldfish are not aggressive and like to be around other fish, as long as they do not have to compete for food. They range from transparent to neon and have distinguishing marks on their fins. They have a good temperament when they are around other fish. But they do need their own territory to thrive. -
GouramiGourami fish are a small, two-toned fish. They are related to the Betta and live well in oxygen poor water. There are 12 types of Gourami fish and they come in a range of color variations. These fish get along with other fish and each other. But they also need ample space, to avoid fights. -
GuppiesGuppies are inexpensive, small fish. They come in many different color variations and have a fanned out, colorful tail. If you have a few male and female guppies together, chances are they will breed easily. They are peaceful, non-violent fish and they get along great with other fish. But be careful not to place them in the same bowl with larger fish because they tend to get nibbled or even eaten.
