Feed the Children, Inc. is an international Christian-charity based in the United States that provides food, medicine, clothes and other forms of support to those in need due to war, famine, poverty and natural disaster, with a focus on children. Feed the Children raises funds through a variety of methods and distributes goods and support throughout the United States and internationally. It is the seventh largest charity based on private support in the United States.

Feed the Children was founded as a non-profit organization in 1979 by Larry and Frances Jones. The charity is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Since its formation, Feed the Children has provided assistance to people in need in all 50 U.S. states through its U.S. Program and in 118 countries around the world through its International Program.
Fundraising

Frances Jones Abandoned Babies and Children Center

Feed the Children operates the Frances Jones Abandoned Babies and Children Center in Nairobi, Kenya. The center provides medical care and housing for abandoned and orphaned babies in Kenya, helps to reunite babies and children with their families and helps local families to adopt. The center also provides education, counseling, support groups, educational materials and ongoing assistance to parents and families.
Builders for Children Program

Feed the Children runs the Builders for Children Program in underdeveloped regions of Africa, South and Central America and Eastern Europe. The program provides volunteer labor for charitable construction projects in these regions.
