OmniForm Form File

OFM file extensions can also be used for a program called OmniForm. This program, which was created by Nuance, is used as a document converter. This means that it has the capability to turn one type of document, such as a Word document, into a another type, such as a PDF. This program will often create an OFM file as a sort of intermediary between the different document forms.

PostScript Font Description File

Similarly to the way in which OFM files can be used to store font information for Adobe products, they can also be used for another document viewing program called PostScript.
