    • Belle Tire is easily identified by its trademark--the animated talking tire known as "Tireman," who greets customers with a robust sounding "Belle Tire," large eyes and smiling face while also waving his white gloved hand. He also has red legs with white shoes, blue arms and wears a red hat with the Belle Tire wording. Wherever one sees Belle Tire, Tireman is present. In print ads, the Tireman logo is found next to the Belle Tire wording.

    • Belle Tire started in 1922 when Sam Waze started the business. He named his endeavor after his wife, Belle. Sam worked with his son Herb through the 1960s. Upon Sam retiring, Herb took over the business along with partner Don Barnes Jr. During the 1980s, Barnes bought out Herb and brought in his brother, Bob as CEO. Currently, Bob is CEO and Don is President. The last two decades have been strong for this family-owned business.
