What Is Chlorophyll Fatigue?

Chlorophyll is the secret behind many of today's super foods. While it gives plants the capacity to sustain life, it also gives the human body the capacity to fight the elements that wreak havoc in the body systems. With the term "chlorophyll fatigue," two separate discussions come to mind. One is the role of fatigue in the production of chlorophyll, and the other is one a condition prevented by regular intake or shots of chlorophyll supplements.

  1. Chlorophyll Production

    • Chlorophyll is the molecule that enables plants to convert energy from sunlight. This energy is used to process carbohydrates from CO2 and water to produce plant food. Clearly, chlorophyll plays vital roles in photosynthesis, which refers to the process by which the plants produce their food.

    Chloroplastinsymplex

    • Unfavorable and favorable activities can affect a plant's chlorophyll production. One activity that hastens chlorophyll production is chloroplastinsymplex. Light is essential to the process, which is a problem to higher plants. While pressure changes generally do not affect chlorophyll formation, compressed carbon dioxide does. The process was observed to be subnormal with compressed oxygen. Plants located in high altitudes or tall and high trees are most likely to suffer this condition. With the above- or below-normal level production of chlorophyll, fatigue or chlorophyll fatigue sets in. The condition is characterized by the sudden and drastic change in the rate of chlorophyll production. Hence, aside from chloroplastinsymplex, chlorophyll fatigue may also be caused by depressed metabolic activity in plants.

    Properties of Chlorophyll

    • Chlorophyll was found to have strong detoxifying properties, which helps remove years' worth of accumulated toxins and wastes inside the body. It is rich in vitamins A, B, C and E as well as in calcium, iron, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc. It was discovered to contain up to 17 amino acids, which deliver significant health benefits, from antibacterial, antiviral to fertility. It is also indirectly reduces high blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

    Benefits

    • Of the many benefits of chlorophyll, its capacity to relieve and improve symptoms of fatigue or chronic fatigue is said to be most controversial. Fatigue is one of the major roots of today's life-threatening diseases. A body that is deprived of rest usually has a weakened immune system. Once the immune system is down, bacteria and viruses can act up and interfere with normal body functions. Hence, fatigue is a serious health problem that can lead to more serious health problems.
While chlorophyll helps increase oxygen supply in body cells and tissues, it supports healthy cell regeneration. While the exact mode of action taken by chlorophyll is not easily understood, its therapeutic properties and significant health benefits are empirically proven. In general, it enhances the performance of all body systems, which indirectly fights and manages the symptoms as well as indirect causes of fatigue. This explains the chlorophyll-fatigue connection.

    Sources and Supplements

    • Chlorophyll is naturally found among plants. Popular sources of include spinach, kale, romaine, dandelion and wheatgrass. Spirulina, the blue-green algae, was also discovered to be rich in chlorophyll. Aside from natural sources, synthetic versions are manufactured to increase the yield of chlorophyll supplements. The synthetic version chlorophyllin is laboratory tested to be safe and effective in delivering the known health benefits of natural chlorophyll.
