About Beach Parties

A beach party is the perfect way to spend a day or evening with family and friends while enjoying the atmosphere of the water and a sandy beach. A party can take place during the day where food, drinks and games can be played. For a nighttime party, luminaries and a waterside bonfire can be enjoyed under the moonlight. Making sure that permission has been granted for use of the beach should be established before sending out invitations and planning for the party.

Invitations

One of the most important elements of party planning is the invitations. Choosing invitations that are welcoming and themed around the beach is a great way to assure a good turnout. Games

The games that are played make a good beach party. Beach volleyball is always a hit and the perfect afternoon activity. Divide guests into teams to compete for small beach-themed prizes and sea-inspired gifts such as shell necklaces and beach towels. Twister on the beach can be played as well, the sandy surface offering a new "twist" on the game. Have beach balls, Frisbees, pails and shovels available for children and adults to play with too.
