About Zodiac Signs

The zodiac is a cycle of twelve points along the path of the sun. This path of the sun is believed to travel through the constellations and is divided into twelve zones. Babylonian astronomers then created twelve signs, zodiac signs, each one representing the twelve zones.

History

The word "zodiac" is from the Latin word zodiacus, which means "circle of animals." Even though animals represent the majority of the signs there are a few of the twelve signs that are not. When the zodiac signs were created astrologers would use the planets, their movement and the Sun as a way to explain and even predict events occurring on Earth.
There were some people who took a great interest in the predictions of these astronomers and there were some who cast them down as evil. Either way it was the strong belief of the astronomers that the other constellations brought about an energy that affected our lives on earth just as our planet's energy affected the other planets.
The twelve zodiac signs came about to explain the affect the universe had on any individual being born on a certain day in connection with the position of its planets.

Fire Signs

Fire signs are in general spontaneous, impulsive with a direct focus on applying their focus to their desires. They are filled with a broad, upbeat imagination that they tend to linger in a lot.

Considerations

While the astronomers were only capable of assuming different characteristics as they pertained to an individual born under a certain sign a lot of them believed strongly in their predictions. Some characteristics will suitably meet the behavior of an individual born under a certain sign and some won't however, it is important to note that these signs and predictions were cast many centuries ago and it is possible that an alter in the cycle of the constellations could cause a slight indifference in regard to the predictions.
