Depending on the amount of work that needs to be done, the eyebrow lift surgery lasts from one to three hours. As long as no complications arise surgery should not last longer than this time frame.

Eyebrow Lift Side Effects

Patients who undergo this surgery should expect to have some hair loss along the scar as well as swelling, numbness, itching and general discomfort as a result of the incisions and surgery. In some cases nerve damage may occur that would require additional surgery, but this is uncommon although it is a risk.

Recovering From Surgery

Recovering from eyebrow lift surgery takes about a week. Individuals may return to work within a week to a week and a half, although patients who undergo endoscopic eyebrow lifts may be ready to return to work sooner. Strenuous physical activity is limited for a few weeks and patients are recommended to avoid the sun for a few months.
