The Best Websites for Teaching Medical Transcription
The demand for qualified "work at home" medical transcriptionists is growing. To do a transcription job, you need a good understanding of medical terminology, the ability to type fast, and coordinate foot (foot pedal) and hand movement. You must listen to a doctor's recording, and be able to type the doctor's comments into a word document; using a standard transcription form. Students interact with the school, and curriculum, via an interactive online program. Students have access to the course via a password-protected account.
