- Halo 3 is the concluding saga of the Halo story. This story follows a war between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant. The Limited Edition comes in a metal case and features the game, manual, poster, a book and an exclusive bonus DVD. The Legendary edition comes with everything in the Limited Edition plus a cardboard poster and a replica Master Chief helmet that holds all of the discs that come with the game.
- Until the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, Halo 3 was the fastest-selling video game of all time. It has sold over eight million copies, in addition to millions of sales worldwide as well. The release created the largest amount of players on Xbox Live at one time, and millions of players still continue to connect and play the game on it today.
