Bicycling is a fun sport and an excellent way of keeping yourself fit and healthy. If you are a bicycle enthusiast, then you are already aware of the importance of having a comfortable bicycle seat, and there is no better and more comfortable bicycle seat than the T-Flex seat, which provides ultimate comfort to the rider.

    Identification

  1. As the name suggests, T-Flex seats are T-shaped seats which are much larger in size than normal bicycle seats. These seats provide great comfort to the rider as its shape and size supports the body perfectly. They are made of PVC foam, which helps cushion a bumpy ride and in general make riding more comfortable.
  2. Uses

  3. T-Flex seats are especially useful when riding on rocky or uneven terrains, so you'll see many mountain and cruising bicycles with T-Flex seats. The seats are also ideal for long rides, such as in bicycle touring, which often involves riding for entire days on end, sometimes for hundreds and even thousands of miles.
  4. Online Shopping

  5. There are many online retailers that provide a wide range of T-Flex bicycle seats. In order to purchase one online, you must first do your research and find the best type of T-Flex seat that will suit your needs. Read some reviews, then go to an online store, and with a few clicks, you can order using your credit card (see Resources below).
  6. Anatomy

  7. There are men's and women's T-Flex bicycle seats, since the anatomy is different for each body type. But both designs support the "sitting" bones (the ischial tuberosities), and since T-Flex seats are made out of PVC foam, with use, the seats will "remember" your particular anatomy and will actually become more comfortable after a while, but since everyone's anatomy is different, it may be wise to try out some seats for comfort before purchasing.
  8. Brick-and-Mortar Stores

  9. Since trying out a T-Flex seat before purchasing one is not a bad idea--as you may find that one shape fits your body and riding style better than another design--visiting a physical store as opposed to purchasing online may be work out better in the long run. The Resources section below has a link to a website that lists brick-and-mortar bicycle stores by state.
