    • Computer repair technicians work in different settings and locations. Corporate IT or information technology, sections often employ their services. Retail electronics stores have computer centers with repair technicians to help customers who purchase electronic products.       Computer repair technician's services are also needed in the military, law enforcement, health care, National Security, and education professions. Self-employment is also an option for anyone employed in this field.
