The issue of whether Andrés (you left out the s at the end) Segovia actually ever called Stephen Paul "Estéban" is in doubt. The fact that Paul himself pronounces the name incorrectly (at least on his own website) makes me wonder if Segovia ever said the name to him even once. Whether Paul actually studied with Segovia is also unclear (the man never mentioned Paul once). If someone today pestered a celebrity the way Paul pursued Segovia, he'd most likely find himself slapped with a restraining order. I won't comment on the guitars (other than to say the overdrive switch is most likely on the amp and not the guitar--who would put such a switch on an acoustic guitar???) as I've never handled one myself. I won't deny that Paul is a great guitar player, but his unverifiable stories (claims he made after Segovia died, so they couldn't be confirmed) tend to overshadow his skills.
