Art historians usually have a PhD in Art History with experience in research.

This job could suit someone who has a good knowledge of art, has people skills and can manage a building. Specific curator requirements can vary, but most have advanced degrees in a particular field like Art History or Native American History. They also take courses and certifications in curator responsibilities.
