Some people think that a gas-powered rivet gun and an air hammer are the same. This notion is not true. The rivet gun actually delivers a more precise driving force than the air hammer does. However, air hammers can be used to cut and shape metal, whereas rivet guns typically are not used for those sorts of projects.
