About the Porsche 911 Gt2
The Porche 911 GT2 is a sports car that has been in production since 1994. It is designed, developed and manufactured out of Germany by Porsche as a replacement to the previous 911 Turbo model. A number of upgrades were made to this car over the Turbo in order in increase its efficiency.

The first 911 GT2 was the 993-generation, built in 1993. In 1998, the engine was slightly upgraded, before the whole car was superseded by the 996-generation in 1999. In 2007, the 997-generation model, which debuted at the 62nd Frankfurt motor show, replaced it.

The 993-generation of the Porsche 911 GT2 had a 3.2 liter engine with 430 horsepower when it first went on the market, to be upgraded years later to an engine with 450 horsepower. The 996-generation had a turbo-charged 3.6 liter engine and marked the time when the GT2 was replaced by the GT3 in motorsport use. The 997-generation has the same engine as the 996-generation, but it has improved turbochargers that increase the engine's rpm.

The Porsche 911 GT2 has a unique shape among sports cars. It is a two-door sports car that is shorter than most other cars of its class, with a coupe shape to the back that is more slanted than traditional coupes. The front end has a rounded hood with circular headlights. A high-angled slope makes the windshield and tapers off to a curve at the top of the car, which then slopes back down all the way to the other end. At the other end is a short but wide rear wing.

911 GT2's have a six-speed manual transmission, though they can also be upgraded with an automatic transmission at the dealership. The engine is a turbo-upgraded 99.9 L 3.6 liter flat-6 engine. It can reach a top speed of over 200 miles per hour. This makes it one of the fastest Porsche cars on the market.

When the Porsche 911 GT2 was first developed, it was an experimental vehicle for use in motorsport racing. It was later manufactured for consumer purchase. When used for racing, these cars had striped interiors and a built-in roll cage for protection. The frame was also built to be lighter and the wing in the back was changed a bit to allow for better aerodynamics. This car was used in national motorsport races from 1993 to 1999.
