Hawaiian Punch I wondered if it tasted the same as when I was a kid- such sweet and fruity memories! NOPE! My palate "soured" or another "original" formula was turned to crap by the makers of Dr Pepper/ Coke. Somehow it is "flatter" with less "body" I thought after not having tasted it for decades.. Then, I discovered the travesty that the formula has been changed, no doubt, to make more money. Now, you can have your kids drink sugar (corn syrup) with NO nutritional value and its taste sucks! When I was a kid, I got REAL cane sugar and great taste it was WORTH being fat! Now, everything you wanted in a non alcoholic beverage and less. Bruce Jacobs may not agree but there should be a LAW that REGULATES certain products and their taste. Snickers, O'Henry Bars, Neccos, Hawaiian Punch, etc. MUST remain in their original formulas and packages as well. (none of this 30% more inside bullshit- I'm not stupid, I know your blowing great candy up with air!) Finally, something the right and left could and should agree upon- the preservation of great sweets (beverage and solid) icons as an amendment of the constitution. I want America the way it used to be. Don't you sweets?
