- Bali Hai Golf Club was designed by golf course architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley. The course features seven acres of water, more than 4,000 trees, among them 2,500 palm trees. There are 100,000 tropical plants on the grounds, giving the entire course the look of an island paradise. Views of the glamorous resorts of Las Vegas are available from every fairway.
- Bali Hai Golf Club has fees that depend on the time of year and the time of day that you desire to golf. During the first two weeks of December for instance it would cost you $265 to play after 8 in the morning, $195 after 12:30 in the afternoon, and $95 after 2 in the afternoon. These are weekday fees, with Monday through Thursday considered weekdays. A foursome is expected to be able to play the course in four hours.
- Weekend fees cover Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and are usually higher across the board. To golf Bali Hai in February during the 8 AM time slot costs $275 during the week but $325 on the weekends. After 1:30 PM you will pay $275 on the weekends as opposed to $50 less Monday through Thursday. The later the tee time is the less the difference between greens fees on the weekend and weekday. The only time you will pay less than $100 is for tee times after 2 PM at certain times of the year. Remember, this is Las Vegas, where the midday desert sun discourages many golfers.
- Bali Hai Golf Club rents golf clubs to those who make the trip to Vegas and have to leave theirs home. The rates for these rentals are $75 for a standard set and $100 for a set of Calloway Clubs. These rates include golf shoes. Each group on the course is escorted by forecaddies that are part of the service Bali Hai provides. The recommended gratuity for the forecaddie is $25 to $30 per person in the group.
- The course is a par 71 with four separate sets of tees for each hole. The black tees are the furthest back and the course is just over 7,000 yards long from them. There are four par 5 holes, five par 3s, and nine par 4s. Bali Hai has a website on which you can view each individual hole and also see what the rates are for each week of the year. You are able to then select a date no more than six months in advance and make reservations to golf.
