When a cleaning business goes to an account, it will clean what its contract specifies. It may specify only light cleaning, in which case, the employees may dust, mop and vacuum. If the contract specifies all cleaning or heavy duty cleaning, the cleaning business will clean the floors, bathrooms, break and kitchen areas and office. The customer can specify what he needs to be cleaned, thereby tailoring his contract with the cleaning company.

Size

A cleaning business can be large or small. A smaller cleaning business may require employees to provide their own transportation. A large cleaning business may provide vans for the employees, especially if they do heavy duty work, such as carpet cleaning.

Warning

Though the cleaning company you do business with might be honest, its employees may not be. Never leave valuables or other tempting things around the office--it may not be there the next day. Most cleaning business now do a background check, including a criminal check on its employees, but that an employee could easily pass the test if she has never been caught for shoplifting or any other crimes.
