Looking for a cloth diaper with no learning curve? Bumkins All-in-One diapers may be right for you. They come in a variety of patterns and fit on your baby just like a disposable diaper--except with consideration of the environment and your pocketbook.

    Features

  1. Bumkins All-in-One (AIO) cloth diapers are both waterproof and absorbent, consisting of a polyester outer shell, six layers of flannel and an air panel on the inside. The airflow panel is created by having four layers of the diaper sewn only to the front and back. This makes for a quicker dry. Elastic is sewn around the edges and at the waist for leak protection. The AIO has a hook-and-loop closure that is easily adjustable to grow with your child. Bumkins All-in-One diapers are made in the United States.
  2. Benefits

  3. All-in-one cloth diapers combine the convenience of disposables with the softness and environmental benefits of cloth. AIOs are ideal for babysitters, grandparents, daycare providers and anyone looking for the ease of disposables. Cloth diapers will save you money. Over a 3-year period, you'll save more than $1,000 using Bumkins AIOs instead of disposable diapers. Bumkins diapers are free of PVC, vinyl and phthalates.
  4. Types

  5. Bumkins AIO diapers come in three sizes. Small fits from 6 to 12 lb., medium fits 12 to 22 lb., large ranges from 22 to 32 lb. and extra large fits 32 to 42 lb. Bumkins diapers come in white or a variety of prints, like Dr. Seuss and farm animals. AIOs can be used throughout the day and make an ideal diaper for outings. They can be worn at night, but an extra liner or doubler is recommended to hold in wetness. AIO diapers don't require a separate cover.
  6. Considerations

  7. Bumkins AIO diapers are fully machine washable, but as with all AIO diapers, they require more time to dry than other forms of cloth diapers. When changing a soiled diaper, shake off the solid waste (not required for breastfed babies) and toss it in a diaper pail. Fold in the hook-and-loop tabs to prevent the diapers from sticking to one another in the laundry. Wash on warm for a few cycles and either hang or tumble-dry. If putting diapers in the dryer, turn them inside out and flip the inner panel to the other side. Hang the diaper to dry if it isn't dry in one cycle. Excess time in the dryer can wear out your Bumkins AIOs.
  8. Prevention/Solution

  9. Never use fabric softener because it coats the fabric, decreasing absorbency and possibly irritating your baby's sensitive skin. Chlorine bleach should be avoided because it can rapidly deteriorate the fabric.
