MySpace is one of the most popular social networking sites. MySpace allows users to keep in contact with old friends and makes meeting new people simple. One of the best ways to tell those on your friends' list more about you is through surveys.

    Function

  1. A MySpace survey is a group of questions usually posted as a bulletin.Thousands of surveys are posted each day. You can learn a lot about a person just by reading their survey answers.
  2. Types

  3. The most common survey is About Me. It includes everything from your name and location to your favorite color. This or That surveys ask users to chose between two similar products, such as types of soft drinks or brands of shoes. Another common type of survey is Top Friends, which asks users to answer a series of questions about their top four to eight friends. For each survey, there are hundreds to variations. It's possible to complete a different survey every day and not answer the same question twice.
  4. Size

  5. MySpace surveys are ranked based on the number of questions included. Very short surveys generally include fewer than 20 questions and only take a minute or two to complete. Short surveys have between 20 and 50 questions and can be completed quickly. Longer surveys include between 50 and 100 questions, while others can include hundreds and take between and 30 and 60 minutes to complete.
  6. Benefits

  7. Some surveys are serious in nature while others cover fun topics. Either way, they're a good way to meet new people.
  8. Warning

  9. In some cases, users answer questions with sexual or offensive language. Other users answer questions sarcastically. Only about half the answers you read on a MySpace survey are truthful or contain valuable information.
