"Hi, I'm Syvia Lewis here with Modern Mom with Lisa and Brooke Burke. We just completed our; well, assuming you already have lip liner on; we're going to now put on either lip balm or a tinted lip gloss. We decided for the day we're not going to do lipstick. So we're just going to choose from one of these and Lisa, I'll let you choose. Which one, because you want to go for a daytime look, "Yes", and easy fresh; "Sure; the lighter look, great." How about just lip balm? "Sure. That's store, drugstore lip balm?" Any. "And with the right lip liner you can use a lip balm and still get the color that you choose afterwards, right?" Absolutely. We have right now; we have this really soft lip balm to moisten the lip liner and blend it in through so you don't see a harsh line. And all I'm doing is just kind of rubbing it in like you would, even if you had your finger, you could rub it in. So that's good, just for a soft lip. "Tastes nice too 'cause it's a lip balm. So it's shiny." "And you, even the lip liner keeps the lipstick from running out of the lip line which is a really bad luck. You know, sometimes you see lipstick bleeding; you see women not wearing dark lip colors and it tends to bleed out of the lip line. Not a good luck. Yeah. The lip liner will actually help hold the lipstick in place." Right, that's what we're doing. We're kind of doing a little step here that keep it in place; keep it from running and it's a good base too because it gives you your; "freshly natural"; right; "Yeah I like it too." So Brooke I have, then we'll put this, "Okay", colored lip gloss on you; but I'll get a different brush for you and then we're just; again, if you want to smile so I can thank you; get it all in there. This one we are doing another light color here because Brooke's eyes are so dramatic. We're going to keep with the soft cheeks, soft lips. "I like that." "It actually looks like a lip stain almost;" right; "The, the pencil." It does and it doesn't, you, just by using lip balm or lip gloss, you don't get that heaviness of, of lipstick. And one of the things that I like to do, just a little tip, is sometimes I'll put a lip balm on first, so that the lipstick thus doesn't get soaked into my lips right away and my lipstick will last a lot longer. So I'll put a little balm on first 'cause my tips tend to be really dry throughout the day and then I'll put my color on over, "That's a good plan", and my color doesn't get absorbed into my lips as quick and I feel like my color will last longer when I do that.""
